The article points to the fallout from recent incidents at Ohio University, AOL and the Department of Veterans Affairs as evidence of this trend.
Elizabeth Hackenson, the CIO of Lucent Technologies was appointed to Serena Software’s board of directors.

Tracey Rothenberger was promoted from VP to CIO at Ikon Office Solutions. He now reports to Ikon’s chairman and CEO, Matthew Espe, and in his new position will oversee Ikon’s migration to an integrated ERP platform. Rothenberg has worked for Ikon since 1999. Previously he held IT leadership positions with Ecolab and U.S. Trust.
